Whee! Went to the letterbox and these were waiting for me.

At last I have Landquake. Also nabbed the Beast Wars botcon comic and first issue of club mag, as I wasn't in time for it.

The Book of Jap and foreign TFs (by JE Alvarex)is a nice look, but it is mostly a picture book of box shots. A little awkwardly laid out in some places and by no means a be all and end all of accessories etc. I was really after something like Bellemo's price guide (but with IN-focus pictures) from g1 to Battlestars with a list and shots of accessories, but I can't find one anywhere.

Tetsuwan Convoy: I would strongly recommend getting Transformers: Generations - it has photos of every Transformer from G1 to G2, Hasbro and Takara. The book was made by Takara (published by Keibunsha) who hired a professional photographer to photograph toys from their own private collection. Really awesome pictures. It also has some other bonus goodies too (including an interview with G1 toy designer Ono Koujin). I don't know if Perth has a Japanese bookstore, but if not see if you can bug any of your in-laws to get one in for you.

But note the above book doesn't show all the toys' accessories.

Here's a variant cover of that TF Generations book TC, although Goks version is the special one ( with more drawings & other anime artworks). got this from Ebay from Hongkong based seller for AU$28 + postage 2years ago. Basically of course the content of toy pics are the same but the concept art and extras were the difference between the two. Posted this just in Case you do encounter a variant just FYI. As Paulbot has said, not much on accessories details but its A+

Keibunsha you say? Would you mind sending me the ISBN and I will do a search for it. I have tried various book shops in japan, (book off etc) but didn't have any luck.

How is the TF Generations Complete (published by Jive)? I have put an order in on HLJ for it, but don't think I am gonna get it.

Unfortunately, the one and only Japanese book store in Perth closed down a couple of years ago....
