anyone who isnt a student cant get their money yet because of a court case. someone has taken the ATO to court on the grounds of the legality of giving out the package. because it is not a 'tax refund' as such, AFIK the ATO can not give out the money, and thats why noone has got it yet
it should all be decided this week i believe.

if the court case falls through then as long as you paid 'net' tax in the 0708 financial year you will get the $$$. if you didnt pay net tax, ie got all your tax back, then you wont get a dime, just like me

Yep, me too for that period. We're too poor to get a handout, only the rich get it.

But now I am paying tax that won't zero back to me, I'm now funding the breeders and the other rich pricks handouts.

we'll find out when the high court hand down the decision tomorrow sometime, i think the bloke is nothing but a w@%*er who has nothing better to do with his time than making himself a target for every aussie who was hoping for his money.the only good place for lawyers are at the bottem of the ocean, they cant do any harm there.

money should go into something better anyway. most of it will be sent of shore when people buy big screen tvs etc
would much rather see it go into something we need, rather than putting the country further and further into deficit, we cant just spend our way out of a recession, it just wont work...
