I ordered Night of Champions because I liked the concept, and while I knew it was coming, I still wanted to see Rhodes turn on Holly.
I was surprised by the PPV though as there were a number of good matches.
The ECW Championship match was a surprise. I expected slow and lumbering but all three turned on the speed with the ending seeing Mark Henry run across the ring, launch himself into the air (never thought he could get that high) and splash down onto Kane for the win.
Edge of course put on a great match, shame it was against Batista and La Familia had to get involved.
I wouldn't have called the women's match boring, as it was good to watch two women who were NOT a by-product of the Diva Search put on a pretty good match.
All in all it was a pretty good PPV. Now to see which poor bastard ends up stripped of their title so it can be sent to Raw.

Im pretty happy with the results. I thought Edge would lose though . Be interesting to see what they do with 2 champs on one show now.

So if the rumours are true about Shane having more control, I think this week's Raw just firms up that rumour. It just looked and felt different and I actually didn't fast forward through much of it!

I think Smackdown will be good this week. If they adopt the Shane approach (who is apparently favouring athleticism over big and powerful) combined with Edge going ballistic over his loss ... well there's only one thing he can do and that's to go after HHH.
Yes ... should be good viewing indeed.
