almost complete but just look at the box. it is, in every sense of the word, amazing.

guaranteed vintage, if i dont believe it when it arrives, he will refund me.

i think alright seeing as one last week ended at $405USD plus shipping for one with similar box condition but a bent flap.

i'm keeping it boxed so i'm not worried about missing gun at this point as i'll have my encore beside it in robot mode.

might want to look at getting a refund mate...
just found this thread i saw ages ago, good for IDing knockoffs of G1s, and it doesnt look good.

the things i picked up from his guide that is the same as yours:

- border above the trailer
- the difference in the lettering position, ie the R in transformers is in a different spot to the original.

i may be wrong, but i also may be right
if you pm me ill send you a link to a site i know sells them so you can compare further, and quote in an ebay dispute as evidence its a knockoff

Gok and Blackie are right - the box is definitely a reproduction one and it even kind of looks like the fists have some sort of residue from being on a sprue. This is not a trustworthy guy - he's lied a lot in the description. If you were the winner, Linthart, don't pay him (of if you have, get your money back now.)

From what i can tell, its definately a fake. atleast the box is.

pitty i've already paid yesterday i knew it was too good to be true but he was a g1 megs that is clearly vintage so i thought perhaps i got lucky.

also there is obvious chrome wear

just sent him a very calm email to try and stop him from sending it out in a matter of hours but if he refuses then i will charge full steam ahead with ebay and paypal's apparent protection.

From the good chaps at Rk. Got myself an extra Blurr and Jazz. I love Jazz's kitsch styling vehicle mode and Blurr is just really nice, so I got these as doubles. Maybe even to stay boxed.

My boxed Shockwave came a while ago, but added him in coz he cool. Sunstorm and Ratchet. Incidentally, from Page 9 about Sunstorms face, I dont think its been remoulded, the white seems to change the look quite a bit so I think its mainly the paint apps (or lack thereof actually) that make his face seems different. Doesn't look like mould degradation yet. Yet

Last but not least. Gold Lightan (yeh, he is not a TF, but still worth a mention). 18k Gold plating on that baby! Kinda odd, since he just turns into a box really, but I like it anyway. Now I have to find some Gatchaman action figures...

ha ha yeh, havent had the balls to take it outta the box yet. Might go get some cloth gloves just in case. The instructions ay to be careful with arms and legs coz the gold can get scraped off...
