I searched a lot for this one before actually getting one early last year. Prior to that I'd been checking on eBay and this was roughly my range:

Loose: $130-140 USD. On Australia eBay normally ranges between $120-170 AUD, sometimes higher, b/c more people ere reluctant to go shipping.

MIB: $200-300 USD on us eBay about the same and sometimes less on Aussie eBay.

I got mine for $170 with a buy it now on Australia eBay. It as a bit more than I was willing but I bought it b/c the seller was offering freebies as well (micros I think it was). I'd suggest US eBay, i see more decent prices. Plus on Australia eBay they don't turn up often and when they do, it's nasty.

I paid a bit more for mine, but that's including shipping from overseas. I think I paid approx $175 for the toy w/o postage

According to ToyFare's Price Guide: (Mint In Sealed Box/Loose Mint)

    C-324 Star Sabre = 150USD MISB; 38USD LM
    C-327 Victory Leo = 175USD MISB; 44USD LM
    C-328 Victory Sabre = 500USD MISB; 125USD LM
    C-348 Dai Atlas = 200USD MISB; 50USD LM
    D-336 Death Zaras = 200USD MISB; 50USD LM

This is from the Sept 2003 issue of ToyFare which was the last time they published prices for Japanese G1 toys iirc

Does that mean prices for these guys have more than doubled since that time?

Or does it mean ToyFare had their "head in the sand" when they came up with these?

I like looking at Starsaber prices as this will be my next big aquisition after I have sold a limb to pay for Metalhawk. They normally go for about $350 U.S MIB but not sealed. the last complete Death Zaras I saw on ebay was around $600 U.S complete in box. Victory Leo normally costs about $50 more than StarSaber so you would be looking at about $350-$400 U.S MIB.
