So he is too short for MP and too tall for classics...
However he will display well on his own so that is not necessarily a negative.

I thought about it. Size wise he would fit right in but the character would be out of place in a seeker group line up.
What we need to balance this thing out is for the next MP to be the same size as Grimlock and be an Autobot or someone Grimlock can fight like Shockwave.

Well it certainly seems that this is going to be the standard size now, which is frustrating because it means Megatron, Prime and Ultra Magnus will remain out of proportion with the rest.

Pfft he's out of scale, In the world of Transformers this happens every week, its about as suprising as Hasbro's new TF having some silly gimmick.
His lack of Height compared to Convoy aside those pictures make him look damn awesome!
