It would if you buy local retail Transformers but there isn't much of interest at the moment.

The missus won't let me spend the money on Transformers but I will spend my own money to get some

I still need to get Acid Storm and I might pick up a Bruticus or Superion while Kmart has the sale on

Why won't people like you get it?

I am asking because I am not even sure if I will get it.

you have to pay net tax i believe, the main problem is so many people who earn quite little (im not so worried about myself, im comfortable, but it would be nice, its more the people who actually need this) wont get it because of tax offsets etc

As I understand, you have to have paid tax. IE: You earned over $6000 or whatever it is and you got $500 tax withheld throughout the year, and only got $400 back at tax time. Thus you paid tax and will get the rebate. If you got it all back, you get nothing. That's my understanding of it.

If you get things like youth allowance etc you get it anyway, so I'm getting it through that. There is a full list on the centrelink website
