Here's one that boggles me!

Which of the seekers and coneheads should have the regular Starscream-esque 'missiles' (in the cartoon - null ray cannons or what have you) versus the Ramjet phat-missiles?

At the mo, for team consistency I've grabbed the Phat-missiles off two spare classics Ramjets I have for my Henkei Coneheads - like so:


But ultimately -which is it!?

(funnily - or NOT funnily enough - the only seeker/conehead in my current collection WITHOUT chrome launchers is ...Ramjet. Bloody deviant!!!!)

What is the most reliable way of purchasing Henkei Convoy and Skyfire? Should I stick to HJL or are there better options? Thanks.

There are other options, some cheaper. "Better" is subjective

Check out robotkingdom.com. I also recently came across toy-wave.com and had a very pleasurable first experience.

RK will give you postage costs on the spot before purchasing, but Toy Wave is like HLJ
in that you place an order, and have to wait for a day or two with the exact postage, then you pay directly through PayPal quoting the Invoice #. On a per item basis, Toy Wave seems US$1 more than RK, but RK's automated method of determining shipping charges makes their charges higher once you start adding a few items.

Of course, for any of the above, you'll save more by buying in bulk.

I just checked both sites and everything is sold out except for Skyfire at Toy Wave. HLJ has both in stock, so that might just make your decision there.

Has anyone else got a henkei Cyclonus with a slightly different shade of plastic used for his nosecone (i.e. the bit that folds down into his chest in robot mode)? To put it differently, is my one and only Henkei purchase the real deal or a convincing KO?

Would you humour me by answering another dumb question (or anyone else for that matter)? What would you get first, the Henkei Convoy or Skyfire? I'm on teaching rounds and money is tight this month, but need to treat myself to something.

Convoy is older and there is less stock of it around, so i'd get him first. Neighbor indeed. Keep your eyes on the sale yard for future group orders.
