Yeh I meant the gorilla prime. Bleh i dunno anything outside of G1. Rumour has it though that mr cosby even voiced the gorilla.

What the hell? No, he didn't. At best, this is massively misguided, at worst these are not-so-thinly-veiled racial slurs.

Well based on facial character I reckon there's a similarity between the two. Your own interpretation of a harmless comparison made it racial. Not my intent at all.

The bit about him voicing optimus primal - a joke. Of course he bloody didn't.

There's a little bit of Denny Crane in Kup. Like Denny, Kup is old school, past his prime, held in high regard for his past actions, can't and won't be stopped, maybe going a little nuts at times, has a close friendship with Hot Rod (like Denny's with Alan Shore) and I'm sure Kup is pro-gun.

I was wondering, with the countless reissues, KO's and reimaginings of G1 optimus prime, what do people think of his worth a few years down the track?

With hundreds of AFA original G1 Primes and hundreds more loose/mib in circulation around the world, will this guy ever see a sizeable increase in vintage value again?

Also, comparing this to the rarer (imo) classic G2 Prime, will this black trailored release ever see a value surpassing his 84` counterpart?

Despite all the recreations he will still be a great childhood memory, and one that can be obtained by all.

    Who really cares except scalpers?

Despite being quite gaudy and garish it's 'value' will probably go up due to it not being reissued or knocked off for aforementioned reasons.

Demand keeps G1 Prime prices high and although his G2 toy is technically rarer, it has no where near the same level of demand so they go for cheaper.

No way! If you don't have childhood memories of Prime you can not obtain them... Only children can obtain childhood memories.

Hahaha, the dreaded enemy of collectors? Or maybe only collectors in well stocked areas... I'm sure most people here wouldn't hesitate to hand money to scalpers if it was the only way to get that ellusive toy.

What do 'gaudy' and 'garish' mean? Just sounds like irish names or something to me. Aren't g2 toys colourful and fresh??
