Transformers questions by newbies, and not-so-newbies

I buy most of my stuff there. Transformerland is one of the best places around for vintage gear. Never had a problem with the service, his patience is infinite and prices are great

Has anyone brought stuff from http://www.transformerland.com ? There parts seem cheap, the only issue I see is that all of the parts pics are stock photos, not actual photos of the parts, so can be confusing unless you read the description of the part.

Does anyone know whether RID Optimus Prime will combine seamlessly with CR God Magnus? Were there any minor mold changes to RID Optimus compared to Super Fire Convoy which might hinder the combination process to Omega Prime? And also, what is the quality of RID Optimus overall compared to CR SFC? I have heard stories that the tyres are prone to splitting on RID Prime and the addition of the Autobot symbols on the shoulder pads but I'm interested in knowing about the overall quality of each product.

That cracked tires thing comes up a lot but my RID Prime is still fine 8 years on

I have SFC, RiD OP and GM - my RiD OP combines with GM just fine, but has cracked tyres. My SFC's tyres are fine.

Do reissues have the same stampings as the original G1 figures?

I think it depends; some do and some don't. iirc reissue Sixshot and TFC Hound have the same stampings as the originals. Likewise the Hasbro reissue* of Magmatron. I'll check again when I'm at home.

mine will be the US release max, and i know he aint coming with a sword, so im looking into this as an option.
