I only signed up a few days ago, and it was all done online.

According to TFwiki, since 2004 Hasbro has had to use the term Fireblast instead of Firepower because apparently they lost the trademark (there's no link to any external reference source though). Here's what I don't get:

+ 'Firepower' was never used as a name (e.g. for character, faction, line etc.). Surely people can't go around trademarking the English language for use outside of product names.

+ If Firepower and Fireblast are trademarked, then why don't we see: Strength(TM) Intelligence(TM) Speed(TM) Endurance(TM) Rank(TM) Courage(TM) Fireblast(TM) Skill(TM)... if every word in a tech specs has to be trademarked, then shouldn't we see (TM) appearing all over the place?

+ Hasbro used "Firepower" in TF tech specs for 19 years (1984-2003)... how did they manage to lose the trademark for something they were still using? I thought they lost trademarks when they stopped using them and they expired.

    Question

Will there be a higher class DOTM Megatron than the voyager? Is the Voyager worth getting?

Also why is the DOTM Chronicle two pack costing $125? What a rip, it should be $70.

Can someone answer me this? Are Jetstorm and Stormjet totally different characters? I am after a RID Stormjet on ebay (are these deluxe sizes?). Are the Energon Stormjets better than the RID versions?

Beast Machines Jetstorm and RID Storm Jet are different characters (one a Con, the other a Bot). RID Storm Jet is a Deluxe figure and a repaint of the Beast Machines deluxe toy.

Energon Storm Jet is a different toy/character again, the main body of the Superion Combiner and is, IMO, not as good a toy.

i've been collecting DOTM stuff lately, got all the aust release deluxes, just bought the exclusive american ones and have been looking at getting the exclusive japanese deluxes.

why are the jap release toys sooooo expensive compared to their o/seas counterparts?

admittedly i've been buying from ebay.... but can anyone point me in the direction of them at a reasnoble price? or do i have to just suck it up... and pay $50 - $60 each for them. lol

any advice would be much appreciated
