    howdy all,

I am still not having any luck finding that transformer that I mentioned in an earlier post. I think I'll just put it down to my hazy memory from my childhood

On to another question... My friend is going to America and I'm thinking to take advantage of this. So, are there any transformers that you can only get in the States and not Australia? I'm talking any generation.

Or anything in the states that is significantly cheaper then in oz?

The Universe 2 pack of Repugnus and Overbite were not released in Australia

the toys of the current lines would probably be cheaper as in past years the price of tfs in America has mostly been cheaper then here, and our dollar is king at the moment

The average price of a Deluxe on the shelf in America is $US10 which gives you an idea of how much cheaper they are.

The Wal-Mart exclusive Movie deluxes (BigDaddy, Jolt, Grindcore, Divebomb) may not come out here and would be worth looking for to get cheap.

You might also look out for Classics Devastator, another recent toy that never it here.

    Overbite, looks pretty cool.

I saw Devastator classic when I was in Taiwan. Was going to get it but unfortunately I had to show some restraint on my spending hehe

Any other suggestions? In terms of the "bigger" ones?

Is Wal-Mart a US version of Kmart? Hence cheaper? Any other retailers recommended to check out?

Wal-Mart looked like a bigger Big W store to me. And Roller the four deluxes I mentioned are their current TF exclusive.

Have you heard the rumour about Walmart possibly opening a few stores here in Oz?
Does that mean we'll be getting those TF exclusives as well ? (not bloody likely)

This is my first spot to look for what on shelves in America, and the exclusives are listed separately: http://www.eyrie.org/~dvandom/BW/sightings.html

Movie toys and merchandise listed on their own page because there's so much:
    http://www.eyrie.org/~dvandom/BW/movie.html

Dave's reviews (as well as being my favourite US reviews) always mention the (US) price he paid too.
