In my experience, regular Amazon shipping tends to be around 5-10 working days. I think the long shipping estimates are partly a 'worst case' scenario if it's going to an out of the way country and partly to scare you into forking out for faster shipping.![]()
I ordered a wave of Star Wars 3.75 inch Black Series figures. I selected the slowest toy shipping which is their medium shipping speed on books and wanted them grouped into as few orders as possible.
Despite the fact they come out of the one case Amazon sent them out one at a time over the course of 5 days with one shipment containing 2 figures in one box that was too small to fit them. They folded and ripped the card to fit them in. I'm going to be using Amazon as a last resort in the future, BBTS might be more expensive but they don't do stupid stuff like Amazon.
I've never had any problems like that with Amazon. Was it actually sold by Amazon themselves or another party? (although admittedly, until a few days ago I didn't know the difference)
I'm suddenly remembering early last year we heard news of a new Transformers show being made exclusively for China, have we heard any new info about it since?
I can't understand a word of Chinese so it's not like I'd be able to watch it, I'm just curious what became of it.
yeah that's the one
you could be right Iriorne, it's possible that the new show did end up being that reality show. since besides the announcement at Toy Fair that's been the only "china exclusive" transformers media I think we've heard anything about
*shrug* It's the only one I'd heard of but I certainly can't claim to have been following movie news in any capacity other than incidentally. Here's the TFwiki link for the show: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers_...h_Reality_Show
A quick google search yielded this:
Couldn't find anything more recent than Feb 2013 but TV shows can take years to get off the ground. Most likely it'll get some news coverage at the US sites if/when it ever gets around to airing. At the Q&A Session Brian revealed that there will be a New Transformers TV Series developed and aired exclusive for Chinese Transformers Fans.
"We have Transformers: Prime in China" said Goldner. "And we are also developing a new TV Series for Transformers indigenous to the Chinese Market. Transformers is one of the popular brands there. The brand was there in the 80s so we are making a Brand New TV Series that is produced in China with Chinese partners and will air in CCTV [China Central Television]."
