Not sure where this belongs. Sorry if this shouldnt be posted here

Are Binaltech BT-05 Dead End Viper's rare or worth keeping in MISB condition? I bought it from Japan and am not particularly fussed about playing with it, but if its not really gonna be worth much in the future then I might as well take it out.

Edit: Oh and I saw this on EBAY which is the other reason I ask.

    in the G1 movie soundtrack

is there a version where you get the whole movie music and songs by artists BUT without the dialogue or gun fire effects?

on a copy ive borrowed, there is no track of when they are driving around Quintessa looking for the Dinobots

on other filum soundtracks i have, its the whole film minus dialogue

its not like Acidstorm is like Scourge or the insecticons where he/they are a clone army

    just curious

whoever it is, do they use them to repaint into other custom figures?
Yo, you talking to me, punk?

The reason I'm amassing an army of them is that in the 3rd War Within series, Megatron returns to Cybertron with an armada of Seekers, the Aerospace Squadron, I believe. And that's my fascination with amassing so many Acid Storms, its purely fiction related. I'm on my way to having the number I'm aiming for but yes, my fascination with the mold comes not from how much I like the toy but a fiction related obsession.

I intend to use Starscreams as custom fodder for the remaining Seekers I'm still missing b/c I believe they're much easier to work with than the Acid Storms which require a lot more work to get them painted. That was what tipped me originally to go down the path of the Acid Storms.

Ok, so I just remebered this now. In the MP-08 thread (one of them) I recall someone saying that the dinobots (or grimlock, whateva) are not that popular in Japan.
I think someone mentioned chromedome as a popular char in JP, and after watching headmasters, Im not suprised.

Who else (characters) is popular over in JP that isn't really cared for, well known or not known at all to the Western TF fans? Leave out the obvious ones and I guess at least 15 will do, if im not asking too much (doesn't have to be g1)

Im guessing Ginrai is one of them......

    I'd say...
+ Rodimus Convoy - he seems to be remembered more fondly amongst Japanese fans than Rodimus Prime. I find there's more resentment against Anglophone fans toward Rodimus.
+ Wheelie - not widely liked but certainly not widely despised in Japan as he is in Anglophone fans. The fact that Wheelie doesn't speak in stupid rhymes in Japanese probably helps.
    + Chromedome.
+ Holy - way more popular than Stakeout.

..and that's pretty much it without including Japanese-exclusive characters, who would obviously be more popular since they were never released in Anglophone markets.

Dai Atlas is a notorious character though - kinda like Wheelie amongst Anglophone fans, Dai Atlas is a character who is widely disliked by Japanese fans. I'm sure I've explained the reasons why before, but for anyone who doesn't know why, it's because a lot of Japanese fans strongly resent Dai Atlas' moral universe which is very different from that of Optimus Prime and other Autobot commanders.

Autobot leaders tend to follow the example of Optimus Prime in being very compassionate and merciful. Dai Atlas on the other hand is utterly ruthless against Decepticons - he takes no prisoners and will gladly slay his enemies. He's a very controversial character amongst Japanese Transfans... that and Akira whom JP fans love to debate over whether s/he is a boy or a girl (it's like FIRRIB/RIRFIB in terms of being one of those stupid neverending fan debates ).

    Default More DOdgYness

Hey guys - not sure if this has been mentioned before so I'll just throw it out there; anyone visited the home of dodgy g1 knockoffs yet?

    (yahobby link was here)

Aside from the dinobots, minibots etc I'd never seen or heard of a KO g1 scourge, prowl or wheeljack until I checked yahobby. My G1 collecting days are long gone, but man these guys are making it a whole lot harder for transfans.
