Devastator is by far the most fragile of the G1 gestalts (Monstructor would come second with his Gold Plastic Syndrome)... yet it's weird how so many people keep citing Devastator as their all time favourite G1 gestalt toy. I think Lio Kaiser is the best of the G1 gestalts. Amongst the Hasbro G1 gestalts I think Predaking rocks. I think a lot of people have a biased liking for Devastator just because he was the first gestalt - so he ends up being massively overrated for the same reason that Bruce Lee is overrated... no real comparison. Nothing official. Possibly from some KOs which were sold at Targets a few years ago (the Constructicons themselves were yellow and black).

how do people play with this thing ? It falls apart when you touch it
Hey, I think the reason why the upper body of your devastator is tilting forward is because you haven't attached the leg connector to Long Haul properly. For me, this is one of the most frustrating (if not the most frustrating) transformation of all the gestalt teams. Look up some nice big photos of devvy on google and check out how to shove that piece into Longy's legs. It should be a firm fit (with the connector tab sitting on the two chrome pointy things on his legs). Or if someone else here can give a better detailed step by step guide, would be great! I'm not in Australia at the moment so I haven't got my devy to show you

Gok, I have to agree with you when you say Predaking is up there

Just wondering if there is much difference between the original Generation 1 releases and later robot master releases.

Robotmasters are new moulds compared to G1. Toys like Lioconvoy, Star Saber, Victory Leo are all a lot smaller than their G1 counterparts, and a little simpler also.

    Eagerly waiting for Masterpiece Meister

They're also more show-like in design and colours.
