That's just for the sale.
That's just for the sale.
Not a clearance price... the TFPrime Optimus Maximus is at Kmart for $29. BigW initially had theirs for $48, but it sounds like some stores (maybe all) are now charging $28 to compete with Kmart's new low price.
Just saw today at Coles Sunnybank, a staffer changing the price tags on the Hasbro Christmas Pallet. The TFPrime Cmdrs are now $11.50 (a decent price now, but just wave 1), and the Star Wars Class 1 are now $10.
The other toys on the case were probably cheaper too (because they probably weren't selling at those over-inflated prices).
Went back to Coles and found that the Spiderman Flip-changers (noted as having "Transformers Technology") were also discounted to $11.50.
Almost bought them... just because it has a single "Transformers" word on the packaging.
The toys r us Ultimate shelf warmer, Speed Stars "Bumblebee Track Set" has finally been reduced down from $59.95 to $29.95. It's still a bit steep considering it has no lights or sounds, but it's fun for the kids...
Prime Cyberverse Commanders are $5 at Coles now.
Kmart have put on clearance, their OLD BotShots single-packs - $5, down from $7.
However, in some stores they have removed all the $7 tags, and not put up new $7 tags for the second series BotShots toys.
As such, the new ones are still scanning up as $7, but all the shelf-tags are saying $5... AND, in most Kmart stores, all of the BotShots are on the same pegs (old and new).
This is going to cause confusion by parents or even collectors, who buy a new one thinking it is $5... but when they try to buy it, it will come up as "BotShots Brawler" for $7.
Until this is corrected, or they sell out all the old ones (in some stores there are more old ones than new ones), they could honour the $5 price if your store doesn't have them separated and having $7 tags on the new ones... or they can legally refuse to sell the item until they get it sorted out.
Does this count Thundercracker and that wave? I'm still hunting around for one of those.
