The Transformers Battlegrounds game is on clearance at Big W for $30. Still debatable whether the game is still value at this price, but for those simply collecting physical game packaging it's a good opportunity.

Was the game even worth playing? At any price?

I bought it at EB when it was $29 but still haven't played it, so guess not.

Without breaking into a full on review I think it's a good game however even at $15 I'd only recommend it to people who have the patience to play a turn based strategy AND like Transformers. That's a very narrow fraction of the general populace.

At full RRP there are about a gazillion better games you could spend your money on. At $15 I think it's fairly priced.
