I will go with the white helmet, grey crest first... I will try to do that tonight and see how that looks.

Really, its using boltgun metal already.. I can try to put some black wash.. That should darken it.

I think the flash is making it appear lighter than it is, boltgun grey is pretty dark.

I'm not sold on the grey crest, but as I said, I'm biased to comics Ratchet.
