I know this is probably rare and impossible - but I'm looking for the Grand Carousel #10196 set. Heard that it was released at DJs in Dec 2009. I know 2 years ago and Lego have already stopped producing it. Those on eBay are way overpriced.

But if you see it somewhere else or know someone selling at a reasonable price, please let me know. Ta.

Myer have a few of their older sets on clearance. However the clearance prices are not marked and the staff have no idea so you'll have to experiment by taking a few sets you want up to the counter. I snagged the fire brigade for about $150

Last week (and likely still) there was 30% off on top of the $109 red ticketed price bringing it down to ~$72. If you can't catch one at Myer, Big W are selling the same set for about $74.

I've heard this additional 30%-off-already-reduced-prices at Myer also applies to the atlantis neptune carrier, atlantis hq, woody's roundup and as I mentioned earlier, the fire brigade.

Parramatta David Jones has heavily discounted Modular House sets, such as the fire station.

They were going for around $110 or something like that (RRP $300, or $250) !
