I get the rise in prices now for the SC sets

Theyre 8 studs wide now as opposed to the 6 studs we've had.
I don't know how others will feel about it, but I'm not a fan of the new size. Means that compatibility size wise with the older sets will be off.

On the plus side, you can fit 2 minifigs in the new cars and they come with helmets & hairpieces. May start a new shelf for the larger sets

This is a long way of saying if anyone sees the Star Destroyer on sale I'm interested

(Also the new Batmobile and Jurassic Park T-Rex!)
So I was alerted today by chileno20 that the Lego Discovery Centre has 30% off the Star Destroyer this weekend and yadayadayada I’m no longer looking for it.

That's an excellent price, glad you finally got it. Make sure to post some pics of it once you find a location for displaying it!

The lego art sets look amazing but the price is ridiculous.

Spotted the new Wonder Woman 1984 set at Target and Kmart. Now Target has it at 20% off at $39.20 but Kmart has it for $39.

Anyone know where to get the Lego Mario Thwomp Drop set? The only stores I can find with it in stock are in another state to me.

The official LEGO AU is showing 71376 Thwomp Drop as 'Coming soon'.

If it's a physical store you want to buy from, you can try contacting the LEGO Certified Stores in NSW:

    Broadway
    Westfield Bondi Junction
    Sydney Domestic Airport

They're only doing click and collect unfortunately, and I'm quite far away.

Is the set an exclusive? According to Brickset its availability is 'Retail - limited'. That could explain why it is out of stock with LEGO.com/en-au right now.
