Heh, glad you guys like it. I think it looks a bit funny with how each Autobot is painted with just one colour each... makes me think:
+ Bumblebee - okay, he looks exactly the same in all yellow. No change here.
+ Optimus Prime - everything's red - even the helmet and eyes! Perhaps it's a tribute to G1's "All the Familiar Faces!"
+ Grimlock - in blue and silver... holy cow, it's Overkill retconned in the original G1 Grimlock mould!(Photoshop anyone?)
+ Jazz - in green. Perhaps it's an idea for a repaint as "Prius Maximus" (Photoshop?)
...together they look like Autobot Power Rangers. Ironic considering that Takara's original name for Transformers in Japan was 「変身戦隊トランスフォーマー」(Henshin Sentai Transformers - "Transforming Battle Squad Transformers"*). For those who don't know, all the Tokusatsu Sentai TV shows in Japan (the kinds of shows which are later culled to make Power Rangers) typically have the word "Sentai" (Battle Squad) in their titles, e.g.: (discussion continued in Power Rangers thread)
