Isn't this exactly how the guy on the TFW2005 boards did it? I can't remember his name but I know cos I bought it from him. Wheeljack?

Possibly.. but I dont own one from Wheeljaxx so I have no idea. I went off 1 of his pic which was a completed one and worked out the rest. Anyway, hope this is useful.

I would say don't post this kind of thing cause it's technically the guy's original idea...

Hmm.. This is really interesting how you guys have approached this. Thats fine. I have removed all instructions. Though I think its hardly his claim as I said, apart from seeing pics of his completed one, I have had no help from the guy but its interesting how the board has taken this.

lcz128, so you reckon the million Devastator out there, it all goes back to 1 customiser who did the first one and every other variation doesnt count. Not sure if you guys remember, he uses Astrotrain for the feet and I am using complete different figures. Its just the top that has similarities.

    Oh well.

I see no problem with this. Its not like KC99 has claimed he came up with it entirely of his own accord, and he's only provided details on what he's been able to work out based on what he sees. He's providing help, not claiming credit. And its not like its official anyway.
If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you

I didn't mean as in you couldn't do it. Just pointing out that this had been done before. I think by all means, feel free to post ur tutorial. Nothing wrong with that as others have pointed out, it'd be helpful. I was just trying to give a tip of that hat to the original person who had the idea.

yeah dude, pls put it back.
im interested to see what the fuss is about.
there are just not enough tutorials on sector70 so if you got something to share on how to make custom combiners then please re-post it.

take the first devastator custom for instance, it was originally made by Ptitvite and every tom, dick and harry since have tried to emulate his base model just by looking at it and thinking through the complexities involved. Some down right copy it whilst others modify it with their own flare and interpretation. Frenzy_rumble was the most famous of this, yet he will always undoubtedly give credits to Ptitvite for the original idea and inspiration.
