I generally store it with the box of the toy. If I don't keep the box, then the paperwork all hits the recycle bin. I have no use for instructions so that's a large reason why too that I don't have teh same problem with paperwork. Other than that, I have a tech specs card/catalogue folder which is my primary source of storage.

The only thing that is loosely thrown around are my G1/Botcon tech spec cards. They aren't in a shape that's suitable for standard storage so they sit in there with a bag of very few backing cards that I've kept.
pfft i look after my techspec cards, just not the manuals :P

Keep the paperworks in the same accordion type folder you've got Gok and separated by Series. Its a freaking heavy folder!

I fold them up and jam them in those bags the instrucions come in. Sorted by series and then faction. Then shove them into a box.

I am not suprised by the 5kg weight as the paper is fairly thick. Bio cards and backing cards I keep in another box. All jammed together. There is a lot of stuff.....

How do you guys categorise your tech spec cards?

I have mine in the following order:
+ A plastic sleeve where I dump all tech specs that cannot fit into collectable card sleeves (e.g.: G1 tech specs, BotCon tech specs etc.)
+ Reissues with numbers "pre-dating" the "C-" or "D-" code prefix (used by Takara in pre-1986 TFs). Also includes e-Hobby G1 toys which were intended to be organised in this manner (e.g.: Crosscut is #95 which comes right before Skids who's #96).
+ Reissues with "C-" code prefixes.
+ Pepsi Convoy & Battle Convoy's tech spec cards
+ Reissues with "D-" code prefixes.
+ Encores in numerical order (e.g.: Encore 03, Encore 05 etc.)
    + Masterpiece
+ Binaltech -> Binaltech Asterisk -> KISS Players
+ G1 Collectable cards - the reason why they're in my tech specs folder and not my collectable card folder is because Glyph's tech specs is done in this style, and the other cards are essentially G1 tech specs anyway. So I've put them all here.
    + Music Label
+ Beast Wars -> Beast Wars II -> Beast Wars Neo
    + Car Robot
    + Micron Legend -> Energon/Super Link -> Galaxy Force
    + Robot Masters
    + Beast Wars (reissues)

Now the interesting thing with some Encores is that you have multiple toys which are released as the same Encore release and thus the same Encore number. For example the Minibots are all Encore 10, Skywarp and Thundercracker are Encore 11 and the cassettes are all Encore 15. In such cases I've personally organised them in Japanese Furigana ("alphabetical") order, so for example, the Minibots are arranged from: Outback, Swerve, Tailgate, Pipes and Bumblebee. How do you guys sort these?
