Twitter is rubbish, all online social stuff is rubbish, I couldn't give two stuffs about what someone is doing
In saying that though, I do have myspace and facebookbut haven't used myspace in about a year and facebook maybe once a fortnight haha

For the most part I agree - the trick is working out what it is good for (i.e. those things it does that actually add value to your life), and not being drawn into the dross. Facebook has been a great resource for catching up with old friends with whom one has lost contact, for instance, but there's a lot of timewasting stuff there as well.
I think Twitter could be a fine resource for alerting fellow Transfans to sightings in a realtime way. There is a lot of starf***ing nonsense on Twitter as well - I really don't feel the need to know whether P Diddy has just taken a dump in realtime.![]()

Yeah, you're right, it does have a purpose, looking up old friends etc, blogs are good for an outlet, when used correctly I have no problem with these things. I just get sick of things like "Random facebook idiot: just cooked a stir fry, yummy!!" or "Random facebook idiot: omg twilight is liek so AWESOMEZZ!!1! he's so HOT!!!1!!11" and like you said, the random twitter stuff that "celebrities" think we care about![]()
North Melbourne-bot...?
