I got Universe "Classics" Legends Bumblebee today. Can't be bothered photographing it.

Picked up Legends G1 Bumblebee, Brawn and Beachcomber today. My second eldest son picked up Brawn. He was looking for a G1 Starscream Legends but there none in stock and for some reason he didnt want Animated Starscream.

Kinda ironic that peace-loving Beachcomber is the only one with a gun...

Checked out an LA Target and Toys R Us. Target is more expensive which surprised me and had nothing not in Oz. From TRU i bought Smokescreen, Waspinator, Darkwind, and the non faulty Wreck-Gar (thanks to Jaydisc for telling me how to spot a dodgy one). No movie toys yet but movie books in Borders.

How do you spot a dodgy one and how are they dodgy?

Just out of interest, how much did he retail for?

In hindsight after purchasing and experiencing so many, there are 2 things to look for:

    1. Note the circle. Try to find as small a gap as possible. Otherwise, it seems that when you attach the arms in alt mode, this gap is widened. If you have little to no gap here, you should have a pretty solid alt mode.

    2. Note the arrow. There was quite a variance in the level of burrs I saw, so look for a small one.

The above specimen is close to the best I've seen in both regards, although the picture might not communicate that. When in a shop comparing two, the differences should be obvious.

Thanks heaps for the info Jay, pitty we'll never actually get the chance to properly compare them side by side in a standard store.

My brother needed a new mobile so we traded. I gave him my old Sony ericsson for these guys Classics Mirage, Universe Prowl, Classics Bumblebee (still need to get his jet pack), Classics Astro train, Barricade and a little jet I have no idea who he is.

Plus mum found my collection of "My Little Ponies" out of the 40 odd I had these 5 were the only ones that weren't Knock offs

Also can someone help me identify this little dude, my brother can't remember his name

Well today I acquired this beautiful MISB MP Skywarp from my all time favourite grandson and new bestie, canofwhoopass.

From Jd, a personal delivery of these very, very sexy Henkei Coneheads. So tempted to rip them open but I will hold off until such time as they can be put in a display worthy of their je ne sais quoi.

    Thanks Jay and Blackie.

Darkwind - excellent. (Glad you made it over there well and safely.)

Apparently today is the birthday of the Transformers, as the first issue of the Marvel comic came out on this day in 1984, and the toys followed suit.

I celebrated by buying Universe G1 Legends Starscream. He's quite nice-I especially like the colour choices.
