    Default Seacons uniting WIP

    Hi guys,

Up to me old self again. Had some progress on this. This is transformable. Individual bots. I will take pics soon.

Here are the combined pics. Still need to attach arms and fresh paint.

    One of the arms.

Also, just finished up a non-detachable Abominus, so sorry, no transformation on this one (still need to paint). But I couldnt let Seacons be non-transformable. He was one of my fav gestalts outside of Liokaiser.

Hope you guys like this update.

    Seaking looks snazzy!

And Abominus is based off a Cybertron Prime? Nice idea using the "assault mode" extra wide legs as feet.

Thanks Trunks. Still a way to go on Seacons.

Yes, Abominus, I tried something different. Still as tall as the Liokaiser but a smaller range compared to my previous customs. Not bad outcome, I think the colour is abit offputting so that will be the next to get painted and updated to G1 colours.

    Stay tuned.

BTW, any feedback is much appreciated. Do you guys actually like these customs or is it a case for eye of the beholder...

If not, I am going to work on my WIP silently... boo hoo...

I do want some creative input if any also.

I like em so keep posting. These masterpiece style combiners can be jaw-droppingly good. It's something I would do too but I don't have any junkers/spares and money to buy excess transformers . I would like to try a few combiners based off the Energon/Universe moulds personally.

As for creative input, could you use rockbuster as part of your seacons too? I know he's not part of the team but his shell might work well as the breastplate.

Keep posting us WIPs on all your projects dude. Dont keep it to yourself.....

The colours on Abominus IS a bit offputting right now but the overall build looks really great....I like how its more bulky and tough....I'd say it looks way better your way than the original G1 version.

Sorry i cant provide you with any constructive comments for Piranacon cos I always thought the original G1 Piranacon looks like a** to begin with anyways...

Your Seacon snaptrap from the other thread looks pretty good in alternate form but i cant see it being used here? did you use it here?

Thanks all for the support and good to know you guys do like these threads. I will for sure keep posting. I will be changing mode after the Seacons build to begin painting all those customs instead of build. So, hopefully, you will start to see some of the customs come to completion

Deonasis, thanks for the feedback. Rockbuster huh.. thats interesting idea. I am not familiar with that figure.. do you have the dimension for the body of Rockbuster? He's a crab right?

Bruticus, thanks man. Agreed on the colours of the BW or BM figures are quite mediaocre. I think we need to fix that. The same snaptrap was used on here. You didnt recognise the arms and leg behind the breastplate? hehe

Gamblor and loophole, thanks. I shall keep posting.

Here is a question to you guys. Should he be painted Seacons - Green or God Neptune white and gold colour scheme?

Lets take a vote that determins the outcome.

Well G1 piranahcon kinda have that vibrant color scheme..... but seeing God neptune, I kinda like his clean coloring of white and gold. Although your Gestalt might end up looking boring in God Neptune colors, So go for the G1 instead, I think that properly executed it blends well. Like one example of colouring that can break an otherwise nice figure is TFU powerglide - hasbro version.

These must be really huge figures. Heavy too!
