Not so much a movie (yet...), but remember the awesome online short Mortal Kombat: Rebirth that appeared out of the blue last year, well it looks like it has received enough attention for WB to commission a 10 episode web series.
Michael Jai White has been confirmed as reprising his role as Jax with filming expected to commence next month in Vancouver.
