    Default Custom Painting TFs Indoors

    Hey guys,

Do any of you use spray paints and/or air brush kits indoors?

I usually come home late from work and im really busy on the weekends during the day so that just leaves me only with late nights when im free, but im afraid to use spray paints inside the house (due to the fumes) or invest in an air compressor that will just annoy the heck our of my neighbours at those hours....

I dont have a spacious shed, so i was thinking that my best option so far would be to spray paint in my laundry where there is adequate lighting and an exhaust fan, then wait for it to dry and hand paint it elsewhere.....

    What does everybody else do?

I have a separate garage so I open up all the doors and spray in there.
You have to be careful venting fumes with an ordinary exposed fan motor, the stuff is flammable. You can buy mini spray booths at some hobby stores.
As for compressors small hobby size ones are fairly quiet.

Fark, i never thought about the the potential for fumes to ignite upon contact with the exhaust motor....
hmmm... It may be remote, but i wont take that chance now...

    Whats a mini spray booth?

I saw one of these at Hobbyco last time I was there. I think it would be fairly easy to build one if you could source the parts.

I know you want to spray your customs but you could always use Games Workshop paints which are water based...
