Thanks for the link. It looks like a nice DIY project but i suspect that sourcing a range hood, piping and other materials may push the cost pretty close to the mini spray booth if not more with todays prices....

I know you want to spray your customs but you could always use Games Workshop paints which are water based...

Yes, i currently do use water based acrylic paints from games workshop and Tamiya etc to do all the details...
However, at the moment I'm just spray painting entire base coats and some large areas (whenever i can use masking tape properly that is )
The finish you can achieve is sooo smooth and consistent.....

Rainy days lately is making it impossible for me to do any spray painting outdoors so I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a Sparmax mini spray booth.

Hey rampagesss, do you use the stock standard exhaust hose or did you buy a longer one?
Do you know where i can find a similar exhaust hose for the unit? cos i tried bunnings and they didnt have anything that would work (wrong sizes, non compatible reducers/enlargers). Fark, im stunned that they didn't have what i needed...
