    Default Lego Excavator - where to get it from?

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for the Lego Technic Excavator set (with the additional power functions kit) and was wondering if it is stocked anywhere in Australia anymore, or if I'll have to go to eBay?

    Got the last one from Myer Carindale in Brisbane today - and got 25% off

    I spoke to Lego Australia and the Excavator is an end of line item, and won't be stocked in retail stores again, so if you see it on special, grab it!

    As they asked on ocau, is it a lego sale right now?

    And you'll want that motor set very soon. Build it and you'll see why.

    No, pretty sure it was a combination of:
    1. Me calling them and finding out they had one left, and asking them if they had any sales on soon,
    2. The sales person said that if we had the voucher that came with our Myer 1 card, that there was a 25% discount voucher that came with the card, (which I was pretty sure we had already used, but didn't tell the sales person that!),
    3. Asking them to hold it for me (at list price, $79.95) for my wife to pick up for me,
    4. My wife probably bitching to the sales person about the amount of money I have been spending on Lego,
    5. And then getting a 25% discount on the list price!
    6. ???
    7. Profit!


    My wife rocks And no, get your own wife!

    Is there anywhere in AU that retails the motor set for less than eBay sellers?
