It would likely be similar molds that TakTom has released as Encore only with elongated missiles and short smokestacks with some further cuts on material costs.

However there is the outside chance that one of them is Devastator so one can only hope.

I see no reason that they still wouldn't have the moulds they used for the commemorative series still. Could be another attack on the 25th anniversary, as after the movie, former now adult, g1 fans will be into it again.

But that said, I'd only get what wasn't encored, and speaking of which, taktom could follow up encore with what they released in the tfc collection as well. I'd like encore insecticons.

Hmmm, TRU again , so that means really bloated pricing, sigh. Good thing Ive got most of the G1s I need, and Im just stuck in finding the really hard ones. Hopefully they focus on other characters not issued during the previous commem series, but I think your prediction kup will be it. Sans chrome and with ridiculous bloated long missles, neutered spring action, cheaper feeling plastic likely with paler paint apps. Sigh......

Robot kingdom is currently selling this:
    http://www.robotkingdom.com/services...=&II=TFHRSKIDS

At first i thought it was just the reissue/encore of a crappy hasbro version with those plastic weird bloated missiles, but upon reviewing RK's pictures better, it looks like chromed accurate weapons....wat the?

Is this what ppl reckon will be reselling in our TRU stores shortly??

That's one of the releases from the first load of Commemorative Series. The level of butchering between Takara and Hasbro reissues varies with each toy, i think Skids got away unscathed!

What seems to be happening is a new release in that series, also branded as "Universe".

Ah, commemorative skids. The first "new" transformer I bought when I came back into the fray.

    Excellent call. Maybe.

Pity though, I have commemorative and encore soundwave, and have the 2nd cassette set on preorder. But if it came here, I'd probably still get it depending on price.

BUT, tru never did sdcc releases over there did they?

You know what would be awesome beyond believe?

Reissues from 1987 onwards including G2.

I honestly had enough with the constant reissuing of the same geewhunner cast over and over.
