    Thanks Stompy... sounds fun.

Seeing as I don't really play video games much nowadays, probably will only pick it up if I can grab it cheap.

Much love for my newly completed MG Zaku II v2.0 - totally awesome kit and a vast improvement over the original - SIEG ZEON!

Nice pics VP! You should look into the LED eye sets for these too.
Have you got a full armor unicorn in your stash? That one looks really interesting...

    Thanks mate.

I've seen the LED head kits you can get for these, but seeing as I have the LED GN Drive attachments for the OO Gundams and I hardly ever turn them on, I don't really see a point getting them.

I haven't got a Unicorn nor do I plan on getting the full armor one since I don't really like the look of it (too much white).

Apparently the Unicorn kit is also very flimsy and parts are prone to breaking - so it's an easy pass for me.

The massive weapons on the full armor version are very nice though

    VP:
I think that's your first dry decal applied?I went for Chars Zaku II in all his crimson glory. It's a wonderously engineered marvel that v2.0 kit. The smooth armor hides one of the most spectacular inner frame. Here is the identically inner-framed MG Gouf v2.0 with half the armor off hit:

    Fungal:
Unicorn is a pretty spectacular kit in terms of engineering, but it is a bit ambitious, as with most v.Ka kits and is very fiddly and is not very playable in Destroy mode due to its fragile open armor. The transformation is an engineering marvel but it is difficult to handle as bits are loose and can fall off easily. I have the HD Unicorn with MS Cage still awaiting to be built and am considering the Full Armor version. Heck who am I kidding, I'll end up with it too.

Lol... yeah I don't apply many, not my first, but probably less than a handful all up - I just had to apply this one though, it needs the Zeonic emblem.

Yeah I went with Char's Zaku II on the v1 kit so decided to go a different colour scheme this time - not much a fan of the pinkish red colour though.

I enjoyed the v2 so much that I've just ordered the J.Ridden and S.Matsunaga version - also contemplating getting 3 x Black Tri-Star ones too

Gouf v2 is also on the list to get around too, but I'm hoping they release a v2 of the Gouf Custom (the one with the honking big machine gun)

Im looking for an expert in all things Gundam as I have a question about the Age-1 Normal.
I want to paint the model I have of this gundam but I cant seem to figure out the inner shield. Of the pictures Ive seen, there are ones where the inner shield is all black,

then there are others where the tips are white and the inner part is black.

So my question is, what is the "official" way? Its very frustraing since there are so many different versions of the same thing.

    Thanks.

I guess it depends on which grade kit you have?

The two pics you have linked to above shows what I believe two different grade kits.

They would naturally be different colours and slight variations due to the parts utilised in the assembly of it (as a result of the manufacturing process) - higher grade kits have higher number of parts and more intricate detailing.

As for what is 'official', that really depends on what your interpretation of the term is - the anime character model? Or the box art on the relevant grade kit?

I don't have an AGE-1 Normal (yet) but have the 1/48 Mega Size one on order and will probably get the 1/100 MG when it gets released, so sadly I can't shed anymore light on it, but maybe this will help:

    1/48 Mega Size AGE-1 Normal

    1/144 High Grade AGE-1 Normal

    1/144 Advanced Grade AGE-1 Normal

Please note that there's still the MG to be released (due Feb/March)

I got some more work done on the FAZZ. A green led is installed in the boom stick.
