More Knockoffs :(

I got an email today from a seller ive bought something from recently, who has said that he is taking offers for Superion Gift Sets and shockwave

They both look like real ones too

although, the superion gift set doesnt come with the ramp.. so that makes it a little different.

Still, does annoy me

wow just last night i was looking at G1 giftsets and saw quite a few Superion ones, but they did look very suspicious and if you look at the yellow bubble behind the main boxart you can see why, but now too find out more info about the Shockwave KO.

not sure weather i should post the photos or not, but after looking at them, it seems that the barrel cover for shockwave is purple, not grey like on the original

That Superion box is very close to the original with very subtle differences.

As mentioned, Shockwave is easy to ID due to the purple Barrel and what seems like a much lighter purple.

ha the shockwave head is already coming apart in those pics lol, im just comparing those pics with mine atm. The purple looks more bluer and the grey parts look whiter and flater, also the waist bar that runs through the trigger and connects to the legs is plastic instead of a metal and his eye is silver rather than gold.

thanks for posting these Blackie, hopefully no-one gets burnt with these.

and i suppose with these coming out now the likely hood of getting these getting re-issued has completely gone down the toilet

Either that Loopy OR we just have a preview of what is going to be reissued by HAsTAKTom next in encore. Usually these KOs are produced from leaked out China factories (where both the originals and some unscrupulous items get manufactured) So there could be a chance for Encore Shockers and ehm a Superion set to be out soon. Which , sigh complicates matters for buyers.... especially for online (ebay im looking your direction) shopping.

I hope your right, I would really like to see an Encore Shockwave, as Im sure loads of others would as well.

KO's seem to be a way off life with TF's Im sure somebody will create a guide on how to spot the differences, I guess the best option would be to wait until someone does before buying.

I'm starting to think like this too. Especially in light of Metroplex.
