I wonder what packaging they'll put it in?

I suspect the Universe packaging but in a pinky Hasbro MP Prime type clear box (the one that came with a sound display stand)

For Skywarp it will likely be the same overall clear box as Hasbro's MP Starscream only that the art theme would be like the Universe packaging rather than Classics.

Masterpiece Starscream was a Walmart exclusive that was carried by Toys'R'Us here.

I think it depends on who wants to carry them on a local basis. Not 100%sure.

I don't think there's any parallel between which Australian vs. America reseller gets the exclusives.

I think I prefer the realism of Takara for Skywarp. Plus, if I got this, I'd have to get Thundercracker. I wonder if Hasbro will eventually release TC?

Also, regarding packaging, while I didn't see the MP packaging, the G1 Reissues (Insecticons, Soundsave, Perceptor) are in Universe style packaging.

    .
I'd imagine they will release Thundercracker, but probably not for a year or so. I'm rather torn over this, I am a fan of Skywarp he was my first seeker and all so its tempting. However I do prefer the realisim of the Takara MP line just a little more, so If I want cartoon colours I have my Classics.

Still maybe somone other than Toys r Us will get him, and he'll be cheap.

    Sensational!

    * Wal-mart Exclusive *
    Universe Exclusive Masterpiece Skywarp
    ARP: $59.99 Avail: 11/1/09
The white piece of paper in front mentioned the Universe tag line so I wouldn't be surprised if they'd put him in the same packaging size as Universe Unicron with the silvery 25th anniversary mark. Release date coincides reasonably just in time for Thanksgiving/Christmas.

Sigh.. how I wish it would be of the same classics packaging as before..
    Latest Acquisitions: Metroplex
Incoming: ROTF Buster Optimus Prime; FP Defender, Insecticons
Needs List: Alternity Cliffjumper; TF Prime Bulkhead, Skyquake, Vehicons; Classics Sky Shadow, Junkheap

I was thinking it would make more sense to use the MP Starscream blister packaging as before, just update the product shots. The Universe Classics and Movie packaging is similar enough to tie them together again.

No correlation between US and Australian stores, so it will be whomever wants it can sell it here.

Seeing how well Starscream sold, you'd think TRU would be happy to get it in and over-charge for it.
Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)
