Default Down the back of the couch

There are those of us that trawl eBay constantly and those of us that don't.

I'm sadly one of the people that do; never ending searches, staring deeply at lot photographs to see if some part is sticking out from under another.

Every now and again you find a nice lot or perhaps a mislisted item. I find myself now in the position where I can't act upon these items, but they are so nice you can't help but watch them anyway.

It could be considered blasphemy to make others aware of these items, but I'm going to do it anyway. It would be a waste for them to slip by, even worse if you weren't aware of them in the first place.

    So.

    Lot 1.

From what I can see, she looks complete. When it was originally listed it was just called "2 Transformers 1995".

    Lot 2.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=270401974782

Everyone looks in good condition and the main attraction seems to be complete. The auction doesn't list postage to Australia but I contacted the seller and he'd be open to the idea.

    Lot 3.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=140324941115

A perfect fixer upper opportunity, although a few of them are complete.

The whole thing would cost $150 max to BIN and post, 10 figures, $15 each. Someone would easily make that back. Global financial crisis yet there is money out there to be made.

I'll list more things if or when I come across them.

If anyone was watching these quietly I apologise.

I still think it'd be perfect for someone to snap up and turn a profit on.

Damn...I'm after a Razorbeast and a B'Boom, but no job and relocating = no spare cash.
Nice finds but it might be worth posting these in here.

The problem with those lots is that out of them I only want one or two figures as I already have the rest.

For example in Lot 3 I only need Bboom

The thing is though, how much would you be willing to pay for a complete B'Boom? $30-40? Minus that from the cost of buying the whole thing, you'd easily recoup that money and then some by selling of the rest individually.

    Good point, Verno.

B'Boom has always been a tricky prospect in Australia - he was never released here. He was never that _rare_ overseas, but he's large enough that shipping cost isn't trivial - a lot like this is a good way to offset that cost.

I can still get a B'boom for much less than AU$125-$130 if I really look.

I don't think that the sale of the other figures (some which are incomplete) would off set the cost.
