Default Wizard Magazine. Spot The Ignorance.

From Wizard Magazine #213, A 'Transformers Special'. (By 'Transformers Special', they mean 'Contains Absolutely Nothing To Do With Transformers Except Maybe An Interview With Shia Le Beuf And The Following Half A Page Demonstrating That Wizard Still Knows Nothing About Transformers, We Just Needed An Excuse To Put Megan Fox's Cleavage On The Cover'.) I can only guess which orifice they pulled the prices below from. Plus, that's one good-looking Devastator they have there...

If someone wants to sell me that Devastator for $500 I'll take it.

I was flicking through a book in the Bargain Bin at Borders the other day that was an illustrated Encyclopedia of toys. The Transformers page had a pretty accurate description of what Transformers are and its Japanese origins... but the photos included Twin Twist (good start), a badly-transformed-into-robot-mode Perceptor (facing the wrong way), a Matchbox Lion Force Voltron (a non-transforming one!) and a Yellow Voltron Lion that was described as a Canine.

If that's the level of knowledge, research and verification needed to publish a collector's magazine then we should try doing one ourselves - I am sure that our amateurish one would have more integrity in its information and better pics even if we do it all half a$$ed

Wow, that's a level of fail comparable to when Pokemon World magazine declared HeartGold and SoulSilver to be fakes, despite, y'know, Nintendo putting up an official website and info being aired on a Pokemon variety show in Japan and being published in a gaming magazine and whatnot.

I have that issue of toyfare and I was quite amused by it all...
Though I doubt they would care as much (with the sideswipe error) when compared to that (in my opinion) larger fail of the pokemon magazine goof.

That said - the devastator fail is extremely amusing... I wonder if next month there'll be a correction after 'legions of fans' write in informing them of the mistake!
