My main computer has stopped working.
I have a strong suspicion that my video card is to blame but I won't be able to do much to it for the next couple of days.

Whenever my PC has broken, it's always been the power supply. Worth trying if you have a similar one in another PC.

Fixed it... for now.
It is either the video card or the PCI slot on the mother board.
What ever it is, I think it's a sign that I should do the upgrade that I've been thinking of doing for some time.

actually... computer will still boot but no display.
