lol, gotta love Winter eh? I bought some gloves yesterday and they really do make all the difference in the world when cycling, balaclava would be nice too but I'm afraid I might forget to take it off while taking money out at an ATM. >_>

On a more crudly note, my PC kicked the bucket last night, right before the week I was taking off to produce music...On the PC. >_<

It's one of those real buggers too, I've confirmed the PSU is fine so now I'm just hoping it's a power/reset switch or case fault. Gonna breadboard it tonight and see if I can get any life out of the bare-bone parts. Please gawd don't let it be the CPU and/or mobo...

All in moderation my good man . Ah the days of reckless youthful overindulgence come back to bite me squarely on the backside.

What is funny is that my main poisons damage wise were alcoholic beverages & that is what did far & away the most damage.

    Bourbon & coke
    Rum & dry
    Gin & solo

all formed a major part of the downfall of my enamel.

Out of curiosity, how exactly does getting gloves make any difference?

Keeps your fingertips warm when you're cycling... especially when you pick up speed and the wind chill kicks in! (>o<) <shivers>

Amen to the man who thought of riding gloves...I can deal with cold legs when riding, but the pain of near frost bitten fingers is unbearable

My fingertips have never gotten cold when riding in windy weather. Must be lucky, I guess.

Why would you necessarily get cold in windy weather? It's the wind generated from you riding in temperatures in the low single digits that causes your fingers to fall off, it was barely windy at all last week and my hands were like popsicles by the time I arrived at work!

Or sub-zero temperatures. I didn't have a car when I was living in Japan, so I got around either by walking or by push bike... and Japan's really hilly - so when it's winter and you're flying down a steep slope with icy-cold wind-chill going at you... <shudder>

Oh God Australia Post. Next day interstate delivery guaranteed...as long as it's in the freaking CBD!
So instead of getting a whole weekend to fill out my Japan Visa form now that I know who I'm actually working for, I had a single afternoon.
