Man i hate doctors! What if you went to those doctors in reverse order, the first one found nothing and the second one found the freckle instead?

My wife had a similar situation, had an ultrasound and found a hernia, went to a specialist and said they can't feel it from the outside so there's nothing there.
What the hell did the first guy find then and what the hell is the point of an ultrasound if it isn't as conclusive as the highly scientific feel test!

My right ear has been feeling 'odd' for a couple of months and after I recently had a cold, it begun to feel muffled. so I went to the Doctor...

Doctor: Do you have any allergies?
Me: No, none that I am aware of.
    *Check ears*
Doctor: There is fluid in your ear. Here is a prescription for nasal allergy pills.
    Me: WTF?

Similar for me two weeks ago. $292 to have a few scans and be told that there are no new developments or changes since my last visit last year.

Heh, the ears, nose and throat are interconnected. You did get the leak from a cold.
Which brings us to where we are today...

A few years back my mum had to get her ears flushed in some manner, from too much build up of wax. It turns out, using the cotton ear buds is not recommended, as over time it will push wax into your ear. Buggered if i know what else to do though!

Go to a GP and they will do it, or send you to a nurse to pump them out with a pump or syringe. Otherwise chemists sell wax softener that you drop into your ear and lie down as it dissolves.

Yeah, what Tober said. Best way to lose ear wax is to melt it out. Through a dr.!!

How can I stop receiving mail that I returned? I'm sick of writing undeliverable but post still sends it back to me.

Yes, previous residents. Some even years before. It says on the envelope if undeliverable, return to sender's address But post still returns to me. Thanks, I'll try that.
