Why aren't you allowed to have a driving license if your vision is corrected with glasses?

You need PowerDVD11 to play blurays (and a BD Drive) and it seems that you can't play them on VLC because the codecs for Blurays is encrypted and you need a license for it. It is a very restricted format.
I can play blu rays, just not the latest ones

My job is illustration but i can't get the official job for it because of digi programs. And traditional hard-working pen n paper don't apply.
Have you seen an optician about this? There may be lenses that can help... Otherwise maybe a better screen...
Which brings us to where we are today...

I've had 2 cats die within 3 months of eachother.
Sorry to hear abouts your cats

Also just had a look at your hand drawn work and wow, that's very impressive Hope you find some ways or methods to get around that digital barrier. Have you considered good old screen filters? Or distancing yourself from the screen by hooking your PC to your TV and just sit back whilst you work - I set this up for Dad to teach him how to use Skype and email

I can be on the computer all day in different programs or on the net but when i throw myself into Adobe and sit there modifing one pixel at a time, recolouring (attempting to) and basic working with it, I can only last a half to 1 hour before my eyes become so effected that i suffer eye problems and headaches... into the next day. Which makes me so tired i have to sleep. As you know, i do alot of black n white line work and i was wondering if all i see on my screen are the outlines of every pixel, but don't notice it sorta thing. I have a big screen monitor already.
I have a similar effect with painting models, but that doesn't start to happen until bout 6 hours later and 2 days later for sims2!
See if i can't learn digi, i can't even get a job in a printing joint. Strange, but true story. And people won't let me do the print, colour, scan back in thing. Even for some of the dudes here in ozformers who've asked me to colour their stuff. If they can't have it now, they don't want to know.

+1. The eye issues you're describing sound like it may be something that can be diagnosed and fixed. Have you got a GP you know and trust? Worthwhile asking for a referral to an ophthalmologist, to get your eyes properly tested and treated. Might be the first step towards solving some of your issues.

Really hoping things get better for you from here on in.

Yeah, although I'm thinking you probably already have seen a specialist. Opthamologists arn't cheap either, even with the Medicare rebate.

What are you saying about Sims 2? Are these 3D models?

Tell me about it! I had to go to one last thursday after my optometrist found a freckle on the back of my eye.. The guy looked at me with one machine , couldn't find anything, looked through another machine (i got the impression it was new and he just wanted to play around with it) had absolutely no sign of the freckle (which was good) but the bill was 270 bucks for about 5 mins.

Man i hate doctors! What if you went to those doctors in reverse order, the first one found nothing and the second one found the freckle instead?

My wife had a similar situation, had an ultrasound and found a hernia, went to a specialist and said they can't feel it from the outside so there's nothing there.
What the hell did the first guy find then and what the hell is the point of an ultrasound if it isn't as conclusive as the highly scientific feel test!

My right ear has been feeling 'odd' for a couple of months and after I recently had a cold, it begun to feel muffled. so I went to the Doctor...

Doctor: Do you have any allergies?
Me: No, none that I am aware of.
    *Check ears*
Doctor: There is fluid in your ear. Here is a prescription for nasal allergy pills.
    Me: WTF?
