You're missing out. Great movie. And so many references will have gone over your head over the years.

I do see a lot of the references, Family Guy as a lot lol. Never interested me to see it though

If you don't have interest in this genre, you may not enjoy it.

Similar movie recommendation - King and I There are others as well.

This is more an irony than a vent. The 9 year old Sony 32 inch panel TV in our bedroom will not die despite me wanting to upgrade it for years. However, the 4 year old Sharp 60 inch TV in my man cave that cost a pretty penny did die on the weekend. This is a TV I did not want to replace. While it is out of manufacturers warranty, I'm pushing for it to be repaired under the statutory warranty that I believe it should still be covered by.

Hey, nice to see someone else who hasn't see it.

Most people I know are shocked when it comes up that I haven't seen it. Oddly it's not like I actively try to avoid, the opportunity just doesn't come.

Weirdly, Top Gun is in the same barrel (pun not intended, but it happened)

It just is not a movie that interests me tbh. My wife hasn't either.

Top Gun I saw as a kid because I love planes, but I haven't watched since. Though I do love the spoof Hot Shots haha

And on the topic of movies not seen that probably shocks some, I haven't seen Godfather

Well Sharp authorised the repair without any argy bargy. It's all about knowing your rights.
