Power's still off and wife's working tonight.... I'm dreading being at home with three kids and no power

Wow. That's a long time to be without power. Do you live near the ocean or another large body of salt water? That's the most common cause of pole top fires. Salt builds up on the high voltage crossarm then you get light/misty rain and the phases start tracking across the salt then POOF!

The last power loss we had here was almost 40 hours long...........NO POWER FOR ANYTHING
