I always disregard those reviews. I much prefer reading/watching reviews from Margaret and David from At The Movies.
I'm actually curious as to what they write about it.
I am assuming 2.5 out of 5 stars..
if so...
what a literal Half-A** Review...![]()
I remember one review about the first movie which actually demonstrated that the reviewer had either not paid attention to the film or just didn't get it. And let's be honest, Transformers is not a movie written at the level of sophistication that anyone over the age of 8 wouldn't "get." It's no Donnie Darko (I think I get that movie?).![]()
I hate to be negative, and I'm going to be honestI haven't seen the movie yet but from a non-fans perspective I bet 2 and1/2 out of 5 stars is probably right. I mean when you strip away all the robots, special effects and explosions what are we left with, crude humour that is funny the first time but will find it become annoying if its everywhere. I'll enjoy the movie for all the action and destruction
and a few notable transformers.
