    Default Transformers Heights?

With my Universe Series I'm trying to get roughly all the characters at their right size.

At the moment my tallest figure appears to be Soundwave ( G1 reissue ), Followed by Starscream, Megatron ect.

Was watching through the Transformers G1 Movie tonight and on the Shuttle when Soundwave was arguing with the Constructacons he looked pretty tall.

    So my question is...

Is Soundwave in fact taller than Megatron/Starscream?

In the G1 canon Soundwave was usually portrayed as being shorter than Megatron but taller than the jets. Having said that, Transformers sizes and scale varied quite considerably in G1.

Reference images of Megatron, Soundwave and/or the jets:
    From US#1
    Another from US#1
From More Than Meets The Eye Part 1
From More Than Meets The Eye Part 2
    From Infiltration
...feel free to watch some G1 eps or read some comics yourself for further references.

As for the G1 toys, Soundwave was the tallest of the first year Decepticons at 18cm in robot mode. Megatron was 17cm and the jets were 14cm each.

That 'shuttle' you're talking about was Astrotrain btw.

Music Label Soundwave works quite well with Classic/Universe/Henkei toys as well.

Henkei Megatron - a TakaraTomy repaint of Hasbro Classic Megatron.

I think the TRU Soundwave reissue is still a quality toy with both Ravage and Laserbeak, which the Music Label one doesn't come with.

    I want that Megatron..

Kyle meet me at the dark alley behind your house in about 1 hour.

    *Grabs crowbar*

Bring the Megatron figure, I just want to look at it.

Seriously though :O is that the one that you need the license for that turns into the gun?
I might have to track one down, I've only got the One that came in the black box, he turns into a Tank o.o slightly shorter than Starscream.
