The word in reference to the Transformers Universe(s) should simply be laughed at.

I've spent the afternoon reading different articles on Transformers Wiki and such and for every article there are 3 others that contradict it, and those 3 don't see eye to eye either.

Prima was the first Transformer but got given the Matrix by Primon.. Then who the frack is Primon?

Optimus was given the Matrix from Sentinal Prime. But the Matrix was in Alpha Trion's possession, who in turn gave it to Orion Pax after he repaired him and thus turned him into Optimus Prime.

Not to mention some forgotten Matrix-bearing leaders who visit Rodimus Prime in a vision, yet you can trace the Matrix from Prima, to Nova Prime to Sentinal to Optimus. ... You've got to be kidding.

So.

I'm going to write my own Universe. The Vernon Universe. I'll pick what I like, write bits in that need writing, re-write bits that need re-writing, cut bits out that need cutting and eventually come up with a Universe that actually makes sense and progresses without contradiction.

It will be based around Beast Wars of course and I'll work back from there.

As I see there to be no real official canon, I feel more than free to do this.

It will take a long time and I have a lot more reading and writing to do. But I assure you this: I will have a Transformers Universe that makes sense!
