    Target and Kmart have a 30 day limit on "Change of Mind" refunds. After that, and you can only get a credit, unless it's defective. Last I checked, Myer said a "reasonable amount of time", and I'm sure about Big W. Mr Toys Toyworlds in QLD don't do refunds at all, only exchanges, and I don't know for how long.

    Every Australian retailer selling new goods is required by law to provide a refund for defective or not as described goods.

    What about TRU? I'm interested to see if I can return Ultimate BBee and buy the one from Kmart which is now at price of $67.

    TRU is the best in my experience. I've returned 2 year old unopened items with a receipt for refunds.

    Big W's Returns Policy:

    3. Change of mind
    If you have changed your mind, BIG W will provide you with a refund in the form of the previous method of payment, or a Returns Card as long as:

    •You have clear proof of purchase, typically a receipt;
    •The product and packaging is in its original condition (including manuals and accessories); and
    •The product is not on the Product Exclusion List (please see below);
