Is it possible to repaint worn out chrome weapons???

I've seen some chrome spray paint but it doesn't look good or close enough to the original chrome. Anyone know how you could possibly do it, it would be fantastic if you can restore chrome parts. The only thing I've seen that comes closeest to chrome paint is via this link only problem is it cost a fair bit:

Yea it called Alclad a guy on TFW2005 uses it and his results are amazing




But only place i can find it is in the UK and you have to have an airbrush and use a black base coat

Sorry i am not into this sort of thing and was curious when i saw this on TFW2005 and typed Alclad Chrome in Google with australian results .
