What would happen if there were no more Transformers?

Gok, there was a distinct gap in 1995-1996.

That's right - during the break between the last G2 toys and when I first read in Previews that there was a new Beast Wars Transformers toyline, it seemed like Transformers was gone forever. Equally, there was a big break between the end of the US line and us getting the 1991 Action Masters. That was also during a year when there were no new comic stories (the US comics had come to a teary close and the UK was just reprinting them and old UK stories). That 1990-91 break was the first time it really seemed like Transformers was over.

I thought when the G1 cartoon finished the transformers was over. It was really hard to get over

Then later I found out about comic!!! Then that ended and it was hard to get over...

Apart from seeing the odd weird plastic looking transformer toy (in crazy bright colors) and 'stupid' animal transformer toys, I didnt realise transformers was still going for about 10 years.

i never paid much attention to them when i was little - though i was into them more than my older brother
but didnt get into them til i met TF76 and now i love them and they're super awesome!

I would just sit in my chair going 'UHHHHH?????!!!' for the rest of the day.

Then I'd actually save money for once. :P
