    Anyone attempted to remove the paint app on henkei Dirge & Thrust? I was looking at it and wondered if anyone has tried, it doesnt bother me much but when the pics were first released people didnt like it so has anyone done it and if they were to what would you need to do? Thanks

    Yeah...i'm not liking the lightning effects either, but im not gonna mess with my henkeis

    However, if people out there really cant stand the look of it and they have the stones to mess with an exclusive henkei set, then perhaps they can use something like non-acetone nail polish remover (note that in some cases it causes the plastic to become cloudy after paint removal) or isopropyl alcohol (not been able to obtain and try this product yet) and then colour match and paint over it...

    cos its not a simple decal/sticker removal but it is hard painted on instead....

    Isopropanol (aka rubbing alcohol) works well generally. Just make sure you grab a brand that's fairly pure - doesn't have other alcohols or solvents that can damage the plastic. I've used Isocol which has some fragrance in it, but I found it works well without damaging the plastic (so far.
