Buster Optimus Prime is described as having lights and sounds, and mech-alive gimmicks. It is also listed for 8,190 yen with a discounted price of 7,371 yen(which is the cost of the leader class figures). Could this be a retooled version of the leader class figure with blasters, as shown in the beginning of the movie and video game? Or could it in fact be, a set of all new voyager class, Optimus Prime and Jetfire figures which can combine?

Can't say this wasn't expected.
But could still be something entirely different until we get some pictures.

Encore Skids is a nice opportunity for those who don't have an original or earlier reissue.

It's also interesting to note a black version of Alternity Megatron in the schedule.

Only time will tell what Buster prime is. Perhaps just a green and brown repaint!

So it looks like just the standard leader prime but smokestacks convert into guns? Anyone seeing it differently?

Ah, it also has "open face". That's cool with me.

I'll grab one. Hope hope it has more detailed paint apps and less Hasbro gray.

I'll buy two~!

I'm happy he gets the new guns but seems to be keeping the old swords as well.

And I'm happy I bought the first version because it can stay combined with Jetfire.

Upon closer inspection the two parts combine into ONE gun only and not two guns. Am still happy with it though.

Looks like this movie I will have three Primes as well XD

...OH - and the gears of war 2 might just be a big pass now...
